The Habbo X navigator is both a visual representation of Habbo X and a fun and efficient way of navigating around the hotel. In the future we plan to bring specific utility to rooms based on where they are in the navigator.
Currently we have five sizes of room, each of which take up a certain amount of squares on floors in the navigator:
- Regular Room: 1
- Studio Room: 2
- Junior Suite: 4
- Executive Suite: 6
- Presidential Suite: 9
Here’s an example of a Studio Room that only takes up two tiles in the navigator, and a Presidential Suite that takes up nine:
How to use the Habbo X navigator
To use the navigator, you need to head to our website. You’ll be able to open it right there on the website.
Much like the way in which you can enter specific rooms from the rooms section of the Habbo website, you’ll be able to browse through the different floors in the Habbo X navigator, click on a room to visit, after which the Habbo X client will take you directly to that room.
Note: for the best experience, it’s recommended to keep the Habbo X client open while you use the navigator.
How to select where your room is located
As well as allowing you to find your way around the hotel, the Habbo X navigator also allows you to move your room around, (based on the restrictions listed in the next section).
1. First of all, open the My rooms window by clicking on the icon that looks like a person on the top right hand corner of the screen:
2. Then, select a tile(s) for your room and click "Place or move room". You'll need to sign the transaction using your MetaMask wallet. Note that you can only place your room on specific floors, see the next section for information about these restrictions.
3. Done!
You can highlight where your rooms are by enabling this:
Please note that rooms connected to Habbo Avatars are placed automatically based on the avatar’s number. If the room connected to your Habbo Avatar has already been upgraded, we’ll still place it automatically as the Studio Room it was when you first got it.
Price
After the launch of the navigator, we'll allow you to move your room to a different floor for free once. All replacements after that will cost 20 Emeralds.
Where rooms are located
In an earlier blog, founder Muumiopappa outlined his long term vision for a huge, varied Habbo X world, with the focal point being a large “genesis” hotel building with many floors and thousands of rooms inside. The navigator visualises this hotel and allows you to navigate through it.
When we launch the navigator, the genesis hotel will have 50 floors. This number of floors will also contain rooms from future drops, as well as all rooms connected to Habbo Avatars and the genesis rooms we released at the end of 2022.
Depending on which type of room you own, you’ll be able to place it on different floors (see next section for information about this).
Floors 1 – 16
Reserved for rooms connected to Habbo Avatars and Crafted Avatars. Please note that rooms connected to Habbo Avatars are placed automatically based on the avatar’s number. If the room connected to your Habbo Avatar has already been upgraded, we’ll still place it automatically as the Studio Room it was when you first got it.
Floors 17 – 39
These floors are primarily meant for rooms we release in future drops, but anyone is able to assign their room there when we launch Alpha 2 and the navigator. First come, first served.
Floors 40 – 45
These floors are reserved for genesis Habbo X rooms. No other room can be placed there.
